GUAM IS FANTASTIC Hey Janet! Well, I'm here now on Guam and it is FANTASTIC!! All of the girls I work with are great, I've made lots of new friends and hopefully, Miss Choi will have me again sometime in the near future! What a great place this is! The people of the island are all so nice and helpful.... they make me feel right at home. I haven't met Defra yet, she's been on vacation since I got here, but I'm very much looking forward to meeting her! GUAM - I LOVE IT!! It is so easy, the girls are great, there is no pressure to do anything that you are not comfortable with. It may not be the best place for a beginner dancer, but it is the best place for someone with a good attitude and postive vibe. You can't complain when you live/work in paradise. Money is secondary, it is here, but it comes in waves like the rest of everything else in life. The girls are nice, some dirty birds, but for the most part, they are clean, classy and easy going and very easy to work with. No stealing, no fighting, its the best place I have worked. GUAM ~ GOOD MONEY EVEN WITHOUT THE SHIPS Hi Janet, I'll be finished my contract here on 3rd September but I've extended till the 20th September, everything is going well here and we made good money despite the Kitty Hawk only being here for two nights. GUAM ~ EASIEST GIG ON THE PLANET Finished my contract at the Crazy Horse in Guam, and just returned home to SF 3 days ago. Guam was a very pleasant experience...probably the easiest stripping gig on the planet! So I ended up staying to work an additional 3 weeks, but now it's time to move on...Madame Salome, USA

Anyway, you get the picture. Guam is popular and simple. The clubs we book pay $75usd per day salary + tips + $25 Private dances and $10 usd drink commission. NO TIP OUT!!! We have two options - you can work the 13 week gig or the 8 week gig - either way it's your choice.

What is the down side to Guam? Guys can get a wee bit gropey, but just tell them to COOL IT! A typhoon can really cramp your style and the odd slow night can drive you to drink; these things can happen at any club, but few care because there's always the beach across the street to brighten the day.

ADDED INFO ABOUT DANCING IN GUAM : Guam is best described as "America meets Japan on a tropical island." If you ever wanted to dance in Japan, but didn't want to struggle with the language barrier; and you can't live without your American goodies from back home, then don't worry, Guam's your place.

THE ACCOMMODATIONS are regular sized apartment / shared with other dancers depending on how many girls are there with you at the time. Accomm is furnished with beds, tv, couch and amenities- no maid service. Accomm is free, but dancer's share the electricity bill (due to leaving lights and air conditioning on while at work), this helps to curb over usage. It's up to you to keep your apartment tidy & safe. Don't bring anyone to the apartments - PAH-Lease!! Bring your own towels, pillow & sheets as well & any other comforts that will make you feel at home on your trip. Some apts are within walking distance from the clubs & beach.

AIRFARE The club will buy your ticket, but if you depart early, then please pay the airfare back.

STAY AS LONG OR SHORT A TIME as you like, but make sure you tell someone when you are leaving, so no one worries about you. If you borrowed money or owe money please make sure you pay it back too - or it's gonna be bad karma for you :-)

The Best Dancers doesn't accept money from dancers who work in Guam. DO NOT GO TO CUSTOMER'S HOMES, HOTEL ROOMS or to PRIVATE PLACES with CUSTOMERS.... EVER!!! Never give out the address to where you are staying, even if you think the person is your friend. Always tell someone where you are going ...and with whom. You're not doing yourself any favors by keeping the names of people you meet from your friends or the staff. This is very important. Always get two business cards from new people or customers. Leave one card (and any other names & numbers you have) in your apartment so at least someone knows who you are with.

YOUR SAFETY : Guam is extremely safe by comparison to other US territories, BUT just because it is it doesn't mean that its O.K. to go running around with strange men and it's NOT OK to drive off with strangers in their cars! Walk or take taxis!!! Always meet people in public & busy places where other people will see you. DONT DO DRUGS & DONT PROSTITUTE!
